The Search for Happiness for as Many as Possible

"The Search for Happiness for as Many as Possible" exhibition of the works of Chryssa Romanou, one of the most significant Greek artists to emerge in the 1960s, will be hosted from 14 December 2023 to 27 October 2024 at the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST) in Athens.

Curated by Eleni Koukos and Dimitris Tsoublekas, the exhibition explores the work of Romanou (1931–2006) by emphasising the political and emotional elements of her art. It showcases issues such as the challenges of modern man in a consumer society and the search for happiness through the labyrinth of everyday life.
