Unseen Museum

The Unseen Museum at the National Archaeological Museum is a special project showcasing incredible antiquities from the Museum’s vaults that have never come to public view.

For the latest installment, an amazing collection of ancient heat carriers comes to light. With their idiosyncratic shapes and ingenious construction, these vessels were effective in relieving a variety of physical ailments and pain, and were widespread for many centuries before modern medicine and its methods.
