Seong- Jin Cho

The great pianist, Seong-Jin Cho, returns to Athens for a unique recital on 25 October 2023 at the Christos Lambrakis Hall of the Athens Concert Hall (Megaron).

Seong-Jin Cho's distinction at the 2015 Warsaw International Chopin Competition – perhaps the world's most important piano competition – was the beginning of an illustrious career with performances in major music halls and collaborations with the world's greatest orchestras. Since then, the South Korean pianist has established himself as one of the leading virtuosos of his generation and a musician with a vast palette of expressive means, enabling him to serve a wide range of repertoires with equal success. 

The highly demanding piano solo recital will be dominated by two benchmark works: Ravel's imposing Mirrors and Liszt's explosive Dante's Fantas.
