Save Magas: Treasure Hunt at the urban side of Athens

The Narratologies team presents a hybrid game exploring the Ottoman history of Athens.

Starting in Omonia, participants are invited to solve a series of riddles by downloading an app to their mobile phone, while at various points along the route the organizers of the game will be waiting with hints.

The game takes us back in time to Ottoman Athens. The protagonist of the game is the beautiful Floga (whose name means Flame in Greek), a young princess who is on a quest to find her imprisoned lover, the handsome rebetiko musician named Magas.

But Floga is the daughter of the Sultan, and when he learns about their secret love, he vows never to let Magas see the light of day again.

Participants must help Floga find her lover so they can escape together. At the end of the game, the results will be announced and the winners crowned.
