The Greek National School of Dance under the direction of the internationally renowned dancer, Daphne Kokkinou, presents in its first collaboration with the Olympia Theatre, a unique dance performance with new works by Greek choreographers, with the participation of the second and third year students of the School.
The first Professional School of Dance was founded in Greece in 1937 by Koula Pratsika. In 1973, the restless creator and great teacher ceded the School to the Greek state and thus began the journey of the Greek National School of Dance (KSOT). From its ranks come a large part of the professionals who staff contemporary dance in Greece, Europe, America and Asia. Through a spirit of constant renewal, the KSOT has been on a steady rise, becoming an exemplary educational institution and an arts center of international renown.
