Modular exhibition “Public Domain”

Part A’ / Donations: March 11 – September 25, 2022
Part B’ / Purchases: April 15 – September 25, 2022

The modular exhibition “Public Domain” that develops in all MOMus-Museum of Contemporary Art periodical exhibition spaces includes the works of art obtained within three years since the establishment of the Organisation. The first part (March 11 - September 25) will present the works donated by the artists and the private donors at the MOMus Museum of Contemporary Art-Collections of the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art and the State Museum of Contemporary Art.

The aim of the exhibition is to focus on the collective and communicative character of contemporary art that responds to collective narratives, beyond thematic and conceptual interpretations. The attitudes of contemporary artists remain polyphonic as they renegotiate the medium of their art through painting, photography, sculpture, engraving, new media and digital applications and allow a multidimensional visual approach of our time.
