The Athens Concert Hall welcomes the London Philharmonic Orchestra and world-renowned American conductor Karina Canellakis on 23 February 2024.
In 2020, the London Philharmonic Orchestra appointed Canellakis as Principal Guest Conductor, a position held by a woman for the first time in the history of one of the oldest orchestras in Europe.
The orchestra will perform one of the most imposing symphonies of all time, Brahms' Fourth. The soloist for the concert is the renowned German violinist Christian Tetzlaff in Shostakovich's explosive First Concerto.
