"Great Hours" by composer Andreas Katsigiannis, with the State Orchestra of Athens

On Thursday, September 29, composer Andreas Katsigiannis, in collaboration with the State Orchestra of Athens, will present excerpts from the composer’s trilogy “Great Hours”.

In his compositions Andreas Katsigiannis weaves his knowledge of Byzantine and Western music into his own musical world.

A reverent prayer, which rustles like the wind from a sacred sky of the Mount Athos to the skies of Attica and the Herod Atticus Odeon, interpreted by Glykeria, Dimitris Bassis, Eleanna Varela and Jonathan Jackson, American musician and actor, who has won 5 Daytime Emmy Awards, along with 100 choristers from three different choirs.
