5th Photosphere

Photosphere is the yearly established International Photography Festival of the Aegean which takes place every summer in Paros and Patmos. Professional and amateur photographers from all over the world submit their work to the Festival. The well-known characteristic of Photosphere is that all pictures are presented in selected open-air spaces on both islands.The exhibited pictures are selected from judges who assemble a high-standard Jury coming from professional photography and artistic fields. Alongside the main exhibitions, events are set up regarding the photographic art such as seminars and workshops instructed by specialized professionals, activities for all the ages, dedicated photography exhibitions and music nights.

Photosphere is highly visited because of the fine selection of the main exhibition spaces, the exhibits’ quality, the free entrance of visitors and the fact that the Festival takes place during the high peak season on both islands. The highly professional consistency of the Οrganizers has established the Photosphere Festival as an ultimate celebration of the photographic art under the glance of the Aegean summer stars!

The 5th Photosphere will start this year from Patmos island and will take place at the "Patmion" Cultural Center from July 17th to July 31st 2022 while in Paros island and at the Cultural Society "Archilochos" will take place from August 21st to September 4th 2022.
