The number of monasteries you can visit in a day depends on several factors including your fitness level, available transportation, and weather conditions. Typically, visitors explore 2 to 4 monasteries in a day. While it's possible to visit all 6 in one day, a slower-paced visit over at least two days is recommended for a more enriching experience.

Yes, modest dress is required. Men should avoid sleeveless tops and shorts above the knee. Women may need to cover up with skirts and shawls, which are available at the monastery entrances if needed.

Accessibility varies: the Monastery of the Holy Trinity and the Great Meteoro each have over 300 steps. Rousanou, Varlaam, and Saint Nicolaos have around 140 steps. Some monasteries also require uphill walking on paved paths. The Holy Monastery of St Stephen is the most accessible, connected by a walking bridge.

The entrance fee is 3 euros per person. Children up to 12 years old can enter for free.
