A special evening on September 12 at the Μοni Lazariston (Lazaristes Monastery), dedicated to the great film composer Ennio Morricone.
The melodies of the great Italian maestro for films like A Fistful of Dollars, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West, Cinema Paradiso, The Mission and many more, feature in the musical performance by the women’s Ensemble Le Muse, in Thessaloniki for a single concert. Alongside their performance, excerpts of the corresponding films will be projected onto the screen, creating a unique musical and film experience.
Ensemble Le Muse is an all-woman group from Italy made up of distinctive musicians from renowned orchestra Rondo Veneziano, who, beyond their wealth of experience in all forms of classical music, have a particular sensitivity and instinct in interpreting the compositions of Ennio Morricone. Conductor – Andrea Albertini, Soloist – Angelica Da Paoli. The melodies of the great Italian maestro Ennio Morricone, feature in the musical performance by the women’s Ensemble Le Muse.
