The French diva of pop opera is returning in September.
Romantic, mysterious and fiery, Emma Shapplin combines the intensity and emotional power of opera with the sensuality and directness of pop music. After the immense success of Spente le stelle and the incredible sales of her record Carmine Meo, which has sold a record 1,500,000 copies, her career took off.
Emma Shapplin, who will be performing alongside a live orchestra and choir – almost 100 artists –, is neither an opera diva nor a pop idol, but rather an interpreter, whose music rises from the depths of her soul. The French diva of pop opera is returning in September.
