Rockwave Festival 2023

Greece’s ultimate rock music event, Rockwave Festival, returns from 1-9 July at Terra Vibe Park in Malakasa, with one of the most dynamic line-ups of this summer. 
From the day it burst onto the summer festival scene in 1996, Rockwave Festival has become a musical institution for rock music lovers in Greece, attracting renowned international and local artists.

This year’s headliners continue that tradition:

• Robbie Williams: One of the most acclaimed and charismatic live artist of his time, with over 85 million albums sold around the world; 13 UK No.1 albums (the most for any solo artist, equalled only by Elvis Presley); 14 No.1 singles and the most concert tickets sold in a day (1.6 million on November 19, 2005).
• Deep Purple: With a body of work spanning five decades, including anthemic songs like Smoke on The Water, Child in Time, Highway Star, Perfect Strangers and Hush, Deep Purple remain hard rock pioneers while maintaining their freshness and artistic boldness.
• The Black Keys: Eternal lovers of pure blues and garage rock, with top albums like El Camino and Dropdown Boogie, the Black Keys remain as spontaneous, impulsive and unpredictable as when they dropped out of high school to make their dream come true.
• Villagers of Ioannina City: Hailing from Epirus and deeply influenced by nature and universal phenomena, Villagers of Ioannina City fuse heavy psychedelic rock with traditional Greek instruments such as bagpipes and flutes as well as didgeridoos.
