The Ioannina Lake Run will take place for the 16th year over September 17-18, 2022.
The race circles lake Pamvotida, one of the few races that continued without interruptions even during a period of strict restrictions due to the Coronavirus pandemic, because of the relationship of trust between the organizers on the one hand and state agencies and the runners on the other hand.
Expectations for this year’s event are high, with the Ioannina Lake Run returning to the pre-Covid era, as a full complement of races will return, beyond the 30 km course race around Pamvotida Lake in the capitol of Epirus.
