Mori Fysi!

The new production of C. for Circus is a unique theatrical and music performance based on the novel by the Chinese writer Yen Lienke Chronia Mina Mieres Mera. The project is part of the Ministry of Culture’s “All of Greece, One Culture 2023" programme, which this year is dedicated to the environment.

Description

The show "follows" a year when drought seemed never-ending. From morning to night, Grandpa, the central character of the story, can almost hear his hair burning. A terrible drought forces the inhabitants of a remote mountain village to flee - all but this old man and a blind dog, who cannot make the grueling journey into the mountains in search of food and water. The old man guards a single corn plant that has sprouted in the barren land. Dedicated to it and the hope it gives him, he fights against defeat every day, winning a victory against death every day. A stubborn battle for survival until the dramatic climax of the end where one of them must sacrifice himself for the other to survive and keep the cornfield alive. A story about the power of life!

Ticket Details

The event is implemented in the framework of the institution "All of Greece, One Culture 2023" by the Ministry of Culture and is offered free of charge. Only the entrance fee of the archaeological site, where applicable, is paid. 

Pre-booking is obligatory.
