A journey with Stravonas

The theatrical play "A journey with Stravonas" by Vassilis Papavasiliou, directed by Nikoleta Filossoglou, is part of the Ministry of Culture’s “All of Greece, One Culture 2023" programme, which this year is dedicated to the environment.

Description

Guided by the great geographer Stravonas, a wander through Northern Greece for an encounter with the climate and the works of the people of his time and of today. The alteration of the climate is described in a characteristic way, not by Stravonas himself but by 'Pseudo-Stravonas'. 

Two actors and a musician on stage talk, sing and improvise with texts of the past and experiences of the present. A hypersensitive citizen with particular ecological concerns is the only one to sign up for the training programme 'Lifelong learning, environment, climate change and health'. A renowned academic takes on the difficult task of training him with impressive results.

Ticket Details

The event is implemented in the framework of the institution "All of Greece, One Culture 2023" by the Ministry of Culture and is offered free of charge. Only the entrance fee of the archaeological site, where applicable, is paid. 

Pre-booking is obligatory.
