The Thessaloniki Piano Festival celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, with events, concerts and recitals in Thessaloniki from 1-29 April.
The only event of its kind in Greece, the festival has established itself as an institution on the contemporary piano scene. It was first organised in 2012 and has, for one month each year, seen about 15 piano-based projects taking place in Thessaloniki and other cities of northern Greece. The aim of the festival is to encourage artistic creation, give a platform to young people and actively contribute to the cultural identity of the country.
