Zagori: Balta Di Stringa Private e-bike Tour

Our best selling one-day excursion is not accidental. Our e-cycling in fantastic landscapes includes; a customary traditional picnic in the “gyftokambos” area, a visit to Tsepelovo but also to the “Sarakatsaniki Stani” and a short hike to the waterfalls of Iliochori. Our appointment is in the village of Kapesovo. After the technical briefing, we are ready to start a great day. We leave Kapesovo and the stone staircase of Vrateto in front of us, we head towards Tsepelovo. After 15 minutes, we reach Tsepelovo and make a short stop at the picturesque square of the village. Then, after passing the village of Skamneli, the landscape changes completely and the traditional settlements are replaced by firs and pines. After about an hour and just before the “Sarakatsaniki Stani”, we make our long stop to enjoy our picnic with traditional pies, seasonal fruits, tsipouro and other local delicacies. After the picnic, there is a short tour of the Sarakatsaniki stable. In this open-air museum, we see up close konakia, stables, kiosks, looms and other settlements of this nomadic Greek tribe. There are about 30 minutes left before reaching the village of Iliohori, where the cycling part of the excursion ends. Here, we leave our bikes and start our short hike to the beautiful “Balta di Striga” waterfalls. After relaxing in this hidden ‘paradise’ of the area, we take our way back to the transfer car. Arrival in Kapesovo. Here, a wonderful day full of fantastic images comes to an end.
