The Original Sunset Tour: Cape Sounion & Temple of Poseidon
<p>Our guided tour begins with a wonderful drive along the Athens Riviera. Enjoy splendid views of the Saronic Gulf while passing through some of Athens’ most beautiful suburbs, including Hellinikon Olympic complex, Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, and Varkiza.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Arriving at the Cape Sounion, you will visit the 5th century B.C. Temple of Poseidon with its magnificent panoramic view of the Aegean Sea (on a clear day you can see at least seven islands). One of its columns has a graffiti left by none other than lord Byron in the early 1800s. Cape Sounion has long played an important part in Greek mythology and history, and the first recorded mention of it occurs in the Odyssey, as the last safe landing before Poseidon scattered the returning Greek navy. As god of the sea, Poseidon was very important for ancient Greeks, and the scale of the Temple at Cape Sounion reflects that.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>After visiting the Temple, filled from the beauty, the history and the culture of this impressive archaeological site we will wait to admire one of the most amazing sunsets you could ever imagine. And when the sun begins to slowly touch the sea it is the perfect moment for a glass of wine, before returning back to your hotel.</p>

Zante Island Full Day Tour
<p>Spend a memorable day steeped in history and culture discovering Zakynthos with an expert guide.Very proud of many local products and crafts from olives, oil, sweets, honey, wines to lace, rugs and pottery.</p><p><br></p><p>Tour begins with a visit to an olive factory where you can discover the production of the famous Zakynthian olive oil during winter. Continue northwest passing the traditional mountain villages of Kiliomeno, Agios Leon and Kampi. Enjoy spectacular views over the cliffs and the magnificent view of the out-stretched Ionian Sea.</p><p><br></p><p>Next stop is at the impressive caves in the North of the island where you can enjoy an optional boat trip. Small boats will take you to the caves which are riddled with hollows eroded by the sea. Blue light is reflected on the walls making the experience truly magical and definitely worth seeing. If you don’t wish to go out on the boats, you can relax on shore or take a quick dip.</p><p><br></p><p>Continue to Anafonitria and marvel at the monastery of St Dennis, the patron Saint of the Island. St Dennis was well- known for his healing powers and compassion. It is worth knowing that the monastery has recently been renovated uncovering 15th Century frescoes.</p><p><br></p><p>After the lunch stop in one of the traditional mountain villages, head to North East. Enjoy a stunning photo stop in Katastari overlooking Alykes and take in great views overlooking Zakynthos town from Bochali where the remains of the old Venetian castle lie. Tour finishes late in the afternoon and there is complimentary drop off service.</p>

Philippi-Kavala & Amfipoli Full Day Private Tour from Thessaloniki
<p>A complex trip which gives you the opportunity to follow into St. Paul’s footsteps, which will introduce to you the Ancient town of Filippi and the modern city of Kavala. Skip the Line: Acropolis, Acropolis Museum & Temple of Poseidon Tour including Lunch
<p>The Athens one day tour depart for a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the firstOlympic Games took place in 1896. Proceed, passing by Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus.You will then drive past the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Continue passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral,Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church, and finally visit the breathtaking Acropolis.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Continue with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater in order to visit the world famousAcropolis museum. Avoid and skip the long lines of the new museum. Main attractions such as votives,statues from archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the Parthenon hall with the metopes, the pediments and the frieze will impress you.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>After a morning tour full of images continue in a localrestaurant under the slopes of Acropolis for a delicious lunch. After lunch depart for Cape Sounion. Enjoy the wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf and pass through some of Athens most beautiful suburbs (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza). Cape Sounion is located only 45 miles (70 kilometers) from Athens, making it the perfect lazy afternoon tour destination. The Cape's Temple of Poseidon is perched on a rocky hilltop overlooking the sea. The view across the Aegean is magnificent with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world, extending all the way to Kea and the Peloponnese on a clear day. The Temple of Poseidon was built in 44 B.C., and many of its original Doric columns are still standing. One of the columns has a graffiti left by none other than Lord Byron in the early 1800s. The precipice is a sheer 197 foot drop to the sea.</p>

Keri Kaiki Cruise from Zakynthos
<p>Sail through the crystal blue waters of the Ionian sea, enjoy the sunshine and feel the sea breezes on this amazing sightseeing cruise from Zakynthos.</p><p><br></p><p>After your pick up from your central located hotel in Zakynthos, your adventure begins at the port of Agios Sostis, where the kaiki boat awaits for you. Sail south to the stunning Keri Caves for your first stop.Enjoy majestic views and capture unique photos.</p><p><br></p><p>Continue to the small island of Marathonissi. The island is situated in Laganas Bay. There are seven discrete nesting beaches for the Loggerhead Turtle, one of them being Marathonissi. The nature on this tiny island is purely exotic as there are no inhabitants. Enjoy a swimming stop in the clear blue waters for about 30 minutes.</p><p>Board onthe kaiki again and sail around Marathonissi and Laganas Bay for turtle spotting. The Caretta-Caretta is a protected species and is one of Zakynthos' most famous inhabitants. Your cruise finishes back to Agios Sostis port, where the bus awaits to return you to your resorts.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Note</strong>:It is not guaranteed to see turtles as they are wild animals.</p>
