The Highlights of Milos Private Day Tour

<p>A special day tour to discover the incredible volcanic island of Milos, one of the most beautiful places on earth.</p><p>Our excursion begins with a visit to the famouscave of Papafragkaswhich is a cluster of deep-sea inlets and sea caves (quick historical overview about the village of Phylacopi, but without entering the archaeological site). Continue our drive along the eye-catching coastline, towards Sarakiniko, an inlet of pure white stone sculpted by volcanic eruptions. From there we will travel the picturesque road along the coast towards Plaka and its cobble streets and alleys. We’ll walk through the village to admire its traditional architecture and its stunning view of the sea.</p><p><br></p><p>Just 300 meters from Trypiti, lay the early Christiancatacombswhich are the largest in Greece, and the ruins of ancient city of Klima. We shall also visit the site where Venus de Milo was discovered in 1820 (now residing in the Louvre in Paris). Our next stop is the fish village of Klima or Mandrakia. The traditional boathousesand the sea create a picture that summarizes the essence of a Greek island!</p><p><br></p><p>After the interesting sightseeing is the time to indulge a cool swimin the famous crystal waters of Palaiochori or Provatas beach. The beach is organized with beach bars and restaurants, for any snacks/refreshments or lunch and water sports facilities.</p>

Keri Kaiki Cruise from Zakynthos

The island is situated in Laganas Bay. There are seven discrete nesting beaches for the Loggerhead Turtle, one of them being Marathonissi. The nature on this tiny island is purely exotic as there are no inhabitants. Enjoy a swimming stop in the clear blue waters for about 30 minutes.</p><p>Board onthe kaiki again and sail around Marathonissi and Laganas Bay for turtle spotting. The Caretta-Caretta is a protected species and is one of Zakynthos' most famous inhabitants.
