Vigla Hotel Amorgos

Vigla is a 4* family-run hotel situated in Tholaria, a traditional village northwest of Amorgos with welcoming and warm villagers. 

It offers fully renovated rooms equipped with modern amenities, along with the restaurant Elaia – Mediterranean Cuisine, which serves authentic Greek traditional dishes brought into a contemporary context and is certified with the Aegean Cuisine label. The restaurant has recently been fully redesigned, alongside a complete renewal of its menu, to elevate the dining experience.

Vigla hotel also features two bars — one by the pool offering refreshing cocktails and another located indoors. In addition, all public areas of the hotel, including the reception and lobby, have undergone a complete renovation, creating a refreshed and contemporary atmosphere throughout the property.

You are invited to indulge in gazing down upon the panoramic view of Aegiali bay, the stunning mountainous landscape of Kroukelos and the eye catching villages of Lagada and Potamos.

Especially for hiking lovers, our Hotel’s location, at an altitude of 182 meters above sea, makes it the ideal starting point for hikers since many paths begin in close distance.

Alternatively, you can take the bus to reach Aegiali, Katapola (the second island's port) and Chora as the bus station is just outside the Hotel.
