07.08.2025Lovely hotel with perfect location. Amazing views from the pool and our balcony. The staff were very professional and helped us with all our questions. Our rooms were tastefully decorated and the breakfasts were plentiful and fresh. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Amorgos.

26.07.2025This hotel and its entire staff goes above and beyond. The hospitality is absolutely fantastic. We had an exceptional experience and plan to return as soon as possible. Additionally the food at the restaurant was delicious, authentic and reasonably priced. The pool was great as well. As an added bonus they also offer tours direct from hotel and I’d rate ours a 10/10. The guide was knowledgeable, fun and very kind. I travelled with my two kids aged 10 and 13 and he kept them engaged and happy for 11 hours! Thanks to the entire Vigla staff and owners and to the Dream blue tour team for making our first trip to Amorgos exceptional.

04.08.2025Staying at the hotel at the moment. Could ask for a nice staff, really friendly and happy to help! The views are incredible and the hotel it really relaxed which is exactly what we want. Some fantastic walks from the area as well.

13.08.2025We spent 7 nights here and we'll be remembering the Vigla for many years to come. Ours was a last minute booking so we only had one of their standard rooms, but it more than served our needs in comfort and amenities. The pools and poolside lounging, bar and dining -- all with sweeping views of the mountains, village and sea -- made for a great way to relax after long days of physical activity hiking, swimming and snorkeling. While we did discover that the beaches we preferred were more towards the other end of the island, truly, our time on Amorgos was made even more special by our stay here. Without a doubt it's the perfect place to situate yourself for hiking focused excursions. A totally family run operation, the staff of the Vigla reminded my husband and I what real hospitality truly emcompasses -- and it's not something you'll find in corporate-owned hotel operations, no matter how well they might train their employees to be welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

12.07.2025We took part in a cooking class with them and it was a truly special experience. We were curious about three traditional Greek dishes, so we called, and they were immediately kind and incredibly accommodating, organizing a private and fully customizable cooking class just for us. From the moment we walked into the hotel, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we instantly felt at home. We cooked together with Chef Irini, who guided us step by step through the preparation of three traditional Greek recipes. After cooking, they served us everything on their beautiful terrace, which made the whole experience even more magical. It was wonderful to share this moment with them—they are genuinely kind, sweet, and authentic people. They also gave us the recipes, and we can’t wait to recreate them at home. If we ever come back to Amorgos, we’ll definitely do it again, this time with new traditional dishes. An experience we wholeheartedly recommend!
