One of the most beautiful places I have ever been is Herakleia. There are no banks, no gas stations, no police stations, no worries, no craftiness and no crowds.

The first place I visited in Greece after Athens was Zakynthos in 2006. I also had the chance to visit other wonderful islands such as Corfu, Lefkada, Cephalonia, Rhodes, Symi, Chios, Kos, Lesvos, Ikaria, Tinos, Santorini, Mykonos, Syros, Hydra, Aegina

This year I showed the country I long for to my new family, which was new to them. We went from Kerkyra to Lefkada and Delphi, plunged into Athens, relaxed at Pelio, took a breath in Thessaloniki.

Although I have spent all my summers in Mykonos since I was six, I love Chania, especially in the winter.

The loveliest picture from Greece is the mountainous countryside of Peloponnese, often also with sea view.

It is like city life moves to Halkidiki, thousands of people flock to their favourite haunts, beach bars burst with vivacity and good humour and wonderful memories of unforgettable, carefree holidays are forged.
