Kythira is a not-so-small island in the south of Peloponnese. It’s not very easy to access, this is probably why it’s not touristically developed.

Before I came to Greece, I already knew that it was a beautiful place with lots of ancient remains that would excite me. However, I had never realized that Greece was so beautiful and much beyond my expectation.

As I was living on a boat and is a watersports enthusiast I used a lot of time in the water.

It was on a Halkidiki beach and under the watchful eye of a close family friend, Greek champion at the Finn back then, where I was set out on a course which defined my whole life and general outlook towards things; sailing had left its indelible mark on
