Milos was last summer and Paros two summers ago. I had never been there as a kid and I feel like I rediscovered Greece when I went there.

The first place I visited in Greece after Athens was Zakynthos in 2006. I also had the chance to visit other wonderful islands such as Corfu, Lefkada, Cephalonia, Rhodes, Symi, Chios, Kos, Lesvos, Ikaria, Tinos, Santorini, Mykonos, Syros, Hydra, Aegina

I moved to Thessaloniki because it has the same urban vibrancy I grew up with in lower Manhattan, plus bounty, beauty, and all those extra centuries of culture, including the culture thriving right now.
