Discover Meteora in 1 Day, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most extraordinary landscapes in Greece, on this seamless full-day journey from Athens. Begin your adventure early in the morning as you depart from Athens’ central train station aboard a modern, air-conditioned coach equipped with Wi-Fi, USB charging ports, and panoramic windows. Along the way, enjoy a refreshing seaside stop at the Camino beachfront bar, the perfect place to stretch your legs and take in the coastal scenery.

You’ll arrive in Meteora around 12:30, where your knowledgeable local Tour Leader will greet you. Before starting your exploration, pause for a delightful lunch break in Kastraki Village, dining under the towering rocky pillars with panoramic views of the Meteora landscape.

After lunch, board a luxury Mercedes minibus for a 4-hour guided tour of Meteora’s wonders. Visit all six monasteries from the outside, step inside three active monasteries, and uncover the hidden hermit cave, where the first ascetics carved their simple dwellings centuries ago. Your expert guide will bring the stories of Meteora’s monks and hermits to life, blending history, culture, and breathtaking scenery.

A modest dress code is enforced to enter the monasteries. For women, skirts below the knee are required. Pants, shorts, or sleeveless shirts are not allowed. For men, sleeveless clothing and shorts above the knee are also prohibited.
