Amorgos: Greek Dance Lessons

Syrtos, Arapina, and Kitsos are all Amorgian dances, but you can also delve into more 'nisiotika' (island Greek dances) like the Ikariotikos or even popular folk dances like "Kalamatianos" or "Syrto sta tria".

Our qualified instructors of traditional dances are all locals and have the same passion of sharing with you the stories and customs behind them. They will take you on a step-by-step dance class that can prepare you for the next "glenti" (a lively Greek celebration with music, dancing and feasting), participating in a big dance circle (dancers form an open circle) with confidence and joy.
