Vanoro Hotel

We felt very welcome and comfortable at this hotel – even with our little baby. What stood out the most was how child-friendly the entire atmosphere was. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and accommodating, and we truly appreciated the care and attention we received throughout our stay. A big thank you to the reception team as well as the kitchen and restaurant staff – everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. We would happily stay here again and can fully recommend this hotel, especially for families with young children.

I may be a little late in writing this, having visited two years ago, but this hotel deserves recognition. Out of all the hotels I’ve stayed at, this one is undoubtedly among the best. The hotel itself is stunning—modern, beautifully designed, and impeccably maintained. The rooms are spotless, with excellent soundproofing and a stylish, well-appointed bathroom. The staff truly elevate the experience—exceptionally friendly, helpful, and eager to share recommendations on must-visit landmarks in the area. The location is perfect, with shops and restaurants nearby and the shore just a few minutes away. If I ever return to Thessaloniki, there’s no doubt—I’ll stay here again. I only wish I could give it six stars out of five.

I stayed there solo in April 2025, and the price was 140 EUR per night. It’s the best hotel I’ve ever been to. A small gym is included in the price, as well as a sauna, jacuzzi, and complimentary items in the room like chocolate, nuts, tea, espresso, water, and more. The breakfast, also included in the price, is magnificent. You can order it any time of day, and it’s prepared by a chef who used to work at a Michelin-starred restaurant. You can order as many dishes as you like in one sitting. You also have the option to pay an additional 17 EUR for a second breakfast, so you can have one in the morning and another in the evening, for example. The view isn’t much, but the location is excellent!

Just had one of the most amazing experiences at Vanoro Hotel in Thessaloniki and I can’t stop thinking about how incredible everything was — from the ambiance and cleanliness to the attention to every small detail. 🏨✨ But what truly made this stay unforgettable was the service I received from the cook - Panagiotis Rafailidis He went above and beyond to make sure me and my family felt welcome, comfortable, and cared for. 🙌 In a world where great service is becoming rare, it’s people like Panagiotis who remind us what true hospitality looks like. TLDR; Fantastic hotel, clean and incredibly accommodating in the heart of Thessaloniki. I’ve stayed here for about a week, used most of the amenities (gym, sauna, jacuzzi, restaurant, storage, cleaning) and I must say that everything was great, I had absolutely no complaints. To start, the rooms are impressively clean, smell fresh and are well built and maintained, nothing in my room seemed old or used, same with the hotel common areas. The comfortable looking bed and pillows are actually comfortable, feel clean, and are not too hard to sleep on, but I would say it is on the sturdier side of pillows. The mattress felt medium level of softness to me, I personally prefer harder mattress. The bathroom was clean, had multiple toilet papers and a bidet, I felt the bidet was a bit too strong and that the pressure gauge wasn’t helpful enough to control the stream. Mirrors were clean, well lit (had an enhanced mirror with led lights for precise things if you need such a thing). My room had a shower that was both a rain shower and an option for a regular shower head. Good pressure levels on both and getting warm water took about a min or so, nothing major to note. The provided soap, shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer, as well as a hairdryer, multiple towels (face, hands, body, etc) and a towel robe. In terms of the food in the restaurant it’s ok in my opinion, I personally ate vegan so I’ve only ate the breakfast option for vegans and it was nice, but nothing special. They have a very stocked bar and coffee area with someone to take care of your needs whenever you’re there. Reception was incredibly helpful with anything I wanted to ask or do, they even helped me with some deliveries I’ve made to the hotel and were very kind about it. The hotel can arrange taxi for you to anywhere you’d like, for a price. Overall I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Thessaloniki and want a good 5 star experience for a good price.
