Very nice Hotel, no noise and a super nice pool. The restaurant is also good and the furniture looks so nice everywhere. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The beach is not far and there is no loud annoying music at the hotel pool. The furniture next to the hotel is cosy and has a higher quality than the plastic stuff at other hotels... Nice place:)

The hotel was clean, cozy, and exactly as shown in the pictures. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast had a smaller selection, but it was more than enough and everything was very tasty. The hotel also had an on-site restaurant and bar – the food was delicious and the portions were generous. I would definitely stay here again!

thought it was really important to share my experience visiting in the last week of the season and leaving on the day the hotel actually closes as if I had known some of the things I no now I probably would have chosen a different hotel. I have stayed in many places in October at the end of the season and I still expect the same level of service as I am still paying (maybe that is just me) we were looking forward to eating and drinking in the hotel as the recommendations of food looked great-when we arrived on our first night we wanted Stifado but the hotel was already at a limited menu so we had to choose gyros instead (which was very nice) after our first night the restaurant no longer opened after 3pm each day which meant we had to venture out finding other restaurants. The breakfast menu had less options than it would in peak season but this is reallv not an issue and I did expect this. I asked for my room to have the sun on the balcony and was told it would have lots of sun and the sun disappeared from the balcony before 9am and did not return all day - again in peak season not an issue but in October when the temperature are lower it would have been nice to sit on the balcony. In room itself was very clean and the cleaners did a good job - I think the bathroom needs some improvements (dirty sealant and parts of the sink peeling off etc) again maybe it was not like this at the beginning of the season but in other hotel stays this would not have changed with it being the end of the season. We were much looking forward to sitting around the pool on the comfy sunbeds and we did utilise them once or twice however they were dirty. The pool water was just stagnant so my partner got bit several times. The scum line around the top of the pool put me off going in and I usually love the pool water. Again maybe it is not like this in peak season but I am a paying customer I should be able to expect these things to be useable. All staff were friendly and they let us keep our room on for free bearina in mind it was there end of the season. All in all we had a great time but I think it's important to share an experience for anyone wanting to book around the end of the season

My stay at the Penelope Hotel was very good. My group and I stayed for 10 nights, so we had enough time to see both the ups and downs. For the downs: we had standard rooms, which were quite basic. Nothing fancy, but definitely sufficient for most needs. The rooms were cleaned every day, and very thoroughly. My only suggestion for the owner (who, by the way, is a very cheerful and kind lady) is to add some sort of anti-slip mats in the baths. The baths are quite narrow, and if you’re showering it only takes a bit of shower gel on the bottom to lose balance and fall, risking injury. It almost happened to me twice, and to my partner once—and we weren’t even drunk! I would also recommend swapping the toast bread at breakfast for some fresh bread from a local bakery. That would be a massive upgrade to the breakfast experience. Now for the good sides—where should I start? It’s a quiet place with a very good kitchen. Every meal we ordered was excellent. The bar service was great, with staff going the extra mile to make drinks that weren’t even on the menu. There’s a good swimming pool for relaxing days. The air conditioning in the room was very effective. All the staff—from the cleaning ladies, kitchen, reception, and bartenders to the owner—were top-notch. It’s only a five-minute walk to the beach, with very cheap sunbeds compared to other Mediterranean countries. Every single restaurant around served good food at very reasonable prices. We had 10 days of a great holiday, full of relaxation and wonderful experiences. If you’re not looking for a 5-star hotel, you’ll really enjoy it.
