Ekati Mare Boutique Resort

Amazing stay at Ekati Mare! Beautiful, modern resort with stylish decor and spotless facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the pools were perfect for relaxing, and the food was fresh and delicious. Loved the beach lounge for sunset drinks — can’t wait to come back!

I’ve just spent 7 days at the Ekati Mare Hotel with my daughter and we have had the most incredible holiday. We’ve made some lovely new friends 🥰 The hotel and their private beach is absolutely gorgeous, our room and the hotel was immaculate. A huge THANK YOU to all the staff you are amazing. The restaurant catered for everyone, fresh, delicious food served perfectly, again amazing staff so welcoming every morning/evening. The entertainment, Kea, Kim and Theresa, WOW! ..you brought so much fun into every day with all your games and activities. Lastly thank you Alex at the pool bar every night for making the best cocktails 🍸👌🏻

The room is a decent size for the price. Some of the hotel staff are great others not so great. Made my booking five months in advance for a family vacation 14 and they separated in two different locations on the street. Our room that was located on the resort smelled like eggs every day and the shower didn't drain. The other room that was off location was about 500 m away. Upon arrival, the staff were not helpful helpful to change the rooms around, even though we explained that we booked five months ago

We stayed in one of the annex rooms, which are separate from the main building and about a one-minute walk outside. The room was spacious and cleaned daily, though the decor was quite dated. Staff were very accommodating when we requested extra towels or pillows. Note: Pool towels require a €10 deposit and can only be exchanged between 10 AM and 3 PM—something we only found out near the end of our stay. Until then, staff had always been helpful. They are also not long enough so please do take a small towel with you. Breakfast and dinner were okay. However, no hot drinks are served at dinner, the coffee machine was broken one morning, and on one evening around 8:30 PM, many food options had run out, which was disappointing. Bottled water at dinner costs €1, but you can buy six 2L bottles for €2 across the road. Hotel food and drinks are pricey, but there are great lunch spots within a five-minute walk. The beach is right across the road—very convenient—but the loungers and cabanas could be cleaned more often. Seaweed was an issue, though one day it was being cleared, which made a big difference. The sea is shallow and pleasant once you get past it. Beach food was tasty but slightly expensive. Entertainment staff, especially Sarah and Kim, were lovely and engaging. However, some reception and restaurant staff could be more welcoming. Despite initial concerns from reading reviews, the stay was better than expected overall.

I spent 12 wonderful days at the Ekati Mare Lifestyle Resort. The food was excellent, the room standard was high, and everything was very clean. But the absolute highlight was the staff — thank you to all the hotel employees for your full commitment and truly exceptional service. I was able to relax completely, and so did my family. I’m genuinely grateful for that, and that’s why I’m giving the hotel a solid 5 stars.
