Avra Beach Resort Hotel & Bungalows Rhodes

The staff are lovely but the lifeguard Paul is a bit of a jobs worth spoils the fun of children a little, rooms a fine but need fully length mirror for the ladies. Entertainment was generally good. Need more outside games for an evening. Update pool tables and table tennis tables they are now slightly worn out.

Wonderful hotel. Our room was amazing, sea view with not only a balcony that overlooked the pool and sea but also a big window so we could see the sea from the bed. Great food. Lovely cocktails. Loved the cakes that were at the snack bar. Entertainment team were really good. Evening entertainment was pretty good compared with other hotels we have been to.

We had the most amazing time at Avra Beach. It was my first experience at an all-inclusive resort and I was overwhelmed by how efficient the operation was while still providing an extremely relaxed atmosphere. The staff were simply outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding and the variety was excellent. We were lucky to get an upgrade to our room. We requested the upgrade a day before we arrived and the room was terrific! We didn't really experience much of the entertainment as we were ready for bed by about 22:00 but everyone seemed to have a great time. The car rental business "Superior Rent a Car" located opposite was excellent and the easiest rental experience I have had to date. Thank you to everyone at Avra Beach. You were wonderful!!!

Stayed with my husband and 2 sons aged 14 & 11 for a week in May 2025. We stayed in a family room with sea view which was perfect for us. Had an absolutely amazing time! The hotel staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. They decorated our room for my husband’s birthday. The entertainment team, particularly Sam, Bee, Boogie & Toni are such an asset to the hotel and really made our holiday fun. The hotel was always clean, we never had any issues getting sunbeds and found the food and drink very good. The location is perfect for the airport, Old Town and exploring the rest of the island. Cannot recommend enough!

This was a fantastic holiday and it was the animation team who make it. A big shout out to Sam and the team. I've never left a holiday knowing each and every dance move before until today. This was also the first time I've ever felt comfortable leaving my daughter at a kids club for a couple of hours. The kids club was great and especially one member of the team, Glukeria, we could tell loved being with the children and made us feel completely at ease. During our stay there was a lot to do. Play in the sea, visit old town, new town and lots of places to eat outside of the resort along with great entertainment for the evenings. There was also someone at reception giving information and booking excursions for you. The only minor problem for me personally was the pool not being heated. But again it's a minor thing as the sea was warmer so we spent most of our time on the beachfront instead. The food was lovely too. All round we would go again. Thank you team for a unforgettable holiday.
