Aegina Fistiki Fest 2023

The Aegina Fistiki Fest, the largest commercial and cultural exhibition in the Saronic Gulf islands close to Athens, returns for another year, from 07 August to 18 September 2023 in Aegina.

The inspiration and starting point of the event was and is the famous Aegina pistachio, the only PDO product of the island. The festival aims to protect and promote pistachios as a product and raw material for a variety of dishes, to ensure their authenticity and to promote good farming practices.

The pistachio trade fair, which will take place over the three days of 15-18 September, is the main event of the Aegina Fistiki Fest. The island's pistachio producers will be selling their products directly, while Aegina's famous nut will be featured in a number of sweet or savoury flavours of original products available at the various stands. Other products of the island, honey, olive oil and excellent dairy products are also in the limelight. In some stands you can also find ceramics and other local handicraft products.

A short getaway to Aegina, combined with the festival, is the perfect opportunity to experience the island at its best.
