About the author
Marianthi Gerovassiliou is part of the second generation of the family behind Ktima Gerovassiliou and Ktima Biblia Chora. Founded in 1981 in the family’s hometown of Epanomi, Ktima Gerovassiliou was the brainchild of her father, Vangelis Gerovassiliou. Ktima Biblia Chora followed in 1998, established with Vassilis Tsaktsarlis on the slopes of Mount Pangaion, with a shared ambition to craft wines of identity and precision.
In 2018, the family revived the historic winery of the late Titos Eftichidis in Goumenissa, relaunching it as Mikro Ktima Titos - honouring its legacy while shaping its future. Alongside these estates, their broader journey includes wineries such as Ktima Dio Ipsi in the Peloponnese and Mikra Thira on Therassia island, reflecting an ongoing commitment to exploring distinctive Greek terroirs.
