Sea kayak tour to Sivota islands and Blue Lagoon beach

<p>An activity in a unique area of natural beauty. Some call it the Caribbean of Greece. Characteristic of the region is the green that dominates the beaches and the crystal clear turquoise waters. Impressive for its color and clarity is the beach “Pisina -Pool”. The kayak route is circular between the islands that make up Sivota. Our first stop will be at the beach of“pisina-pool” for swimming and snorkelling and a refreshing snack. We continue our trip crossing Diaporos, the narrow part between two islands where we will make the second stop for a swim in its crystal waters and explore the Great Cave. We paddle southtowards the small island Mourtos, passing from “kamara” with another stop for swimming to Bella Vraka beach. Finally we’ll return back to the port of Sivota completing our beautiful excursion.</p>

Rhodes: Sea kayaking tour for people with disabilities (private tour)

<p><strong>Sea kayaking tour for people with disabilities! </strong>Getting out in the sea gives people who depend on wheelchairs for mobility, newfound independence.</p><p><br></p><p>The sea kayaking tour in Rhodes is the most eco-way to discover the hidden treasures of the East Coast. It starts at Kathara beach in the south part of Faliraki bay.</p><p>Each participant with a disability will paddle in a double sea kayak with an experienced sea kayaking guide. A second guide will follow the route throughout the program.</p><p><br></p><p>After a small briefing by the experienced Trekking Hellas Guides, we will start paddling along the east coast, to the south. The route offers you the chance to discover two of the most popular bays of the island, Antony Quinn and Ladiko. While paddling, you can admire the rock formations and the crystal clear water of the Mediterranean. Then we will visit a sea cave known as the shelter of a seal called Katerina (by the locals) before finishing our excursion with local mezedes and a cold refreshment at the starting point next to the beach.</p><p><br></p><p>This activity is addressed to paddlers with one arm/leg, people with no leg mobility, people with limited trunk control, and their caregivers.</p><p><br></p><p>The secret about the paddle is the hinged mount, which supports the weight of the paddle, reducing joint stress and creating a smaller range of motion. Using a gentle rotary movement of the forearms (much like pedaling a bicycle with your hands), you’ll glide through the water with minimal effort.</p>

Our day starts with a visit of the <strong>Petralona Cave</strong> and we continue with an amazing crossing with SUPS of the Potidea Canal. After a refreshing swim, we continue to the lighthouse of Cape Poseidon before we visit the thermal springs of St.Paraskevi. 1 Day Summit Mt.Olympus (Jeep & Hike) with snack

<p>Mt.Olympus,mythical home of the ancient Greek Gods! Rising almost straight from the Aegean Sea to a height of 2.917 meters, it is the tallest mountain in Greece and the second tallest mountain in the Balkans. Its slopes are broken by steep, densely forested gorges with stunning waterfalls and impressive caves. Home to the lesser gods and other spirits according to mythology. Its 52 peaks in total are snow-capped for almost 8 months of the year and often remain hidden in the clouds the rest of the time. Its highest peak and the one we are summiting on our 1 Day Summit Olympus, is Mytikas at an elevation of 2.918 m!</p><p><br></p><p>We will meet in the center of the <strong>Kalivia village</strong> and with a 4×4 vehicle we will then drive off towards the mountain hut Christakis. The first 20 kilometres up to the locationis a tarmac road. Then it becomes a dirt road for another 22 kilometres (about 1-hour drive) until we reach the mountain hut at 2,430 meters altitude. Leaving our vehicles there, we set off on foot for the rest of the way. We will follow the <strong>E4 European Trail</strong> for approximately 60 to 70 minutes! We traverse the peak of <strong>Skolio </strong>at an altitude of 2.912 m until we reach Skala. The most difficult part of our hike starts here.We continue our hike up to the location Kakoskala and scramble our way up to the top! Mytikas at an elevation of 2.918 meters has been reached!</p><p><br></p><p>The total duration for this part of the hike depends on the size of our group, their previous experience and fitness level. It may last between 2-4 hours.</p><p><br></p><p>This tour is ideal for those who don’t want to hike all the way up to the mountain top yet don’t want to miss out on the beauty of this legendary mountain! </p><p><br></p>
