Plioni Villas Naxos

Lovely place and nice rooms. Only a 10/15 min walk to the beach, which has beautiful clear waters, perfect for swimming or snorkeling. Only issue we had, whilst booking the room, the description is a bit misleading, I thought we had booked a place with a pool. We received a message the day before arrival stating that we weren't allowed to use it as we had booked a suite, which as we found when we got there, was on top of the villa. Don't get me wrong, it was probably my interpretation that let me down. I just think it could be clearer. Anyway, the room is clean and air-conditioned and has a hot tub too. There is outdoor space to sit and eat but no sunbeds. There is a long seat you can lay on though, built into the wall. There is a fridge and cooking station in the kitchen. A double bed, wardrobe space and tv in the bedroom. All in all, we had a great time, to be honest, being so close to the beach, we wouldn't have made that much use of a pool anyway. Lastly, make sure you hire a car or something, its about 12km to the port/airport. There is a restaurant on the beach, another restaurant and a bakery at the end of the 1 mile lane you need to drive down to get to the villas. Other than that not much else I the area.

A perfect relaxing place, only for those who can appreciate Greek hospitality and the unique blue aegean sea. Very well done to the owners!

We loved our stay at Plioni Villas. The property is brand new, tastefully decorated, comfortable, clean and spacious - we were a group of 9 and did not feel cramped at all! The children particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and outdoors area. The kitchen was well equipped and functional, beds were comfy and linen/towels of great quality. The villa was easy to find and communication with the hosts was impeccable. Our housekeeper was there to answer questions and help with every little detail. Mikri Vigla beach, one of the best on the island, was at a walking distance from the villa. We loved the short walk there. Other great beaches, like Hawaii or Alyko, are nearby (just a few minute drive). Overall, a great place to visit! Warmly recommended!
