Beschreibung

Leaving Platis Gialos, we head southwest, through the strait of Kitriani, and continue up the western coast of Sifnos, past the bay of Vathi and several beaches such as Vlychada and Tsocha, until we reach Cheronissos, the northernmost point of Sifnos. Heading northwest, we leave Sifnos behind us and start cruising towards Serifos.

Around 7 nautical miles later, we arrive at Serifos and head northwest past Cape Spathi, turning right to arrive at Kalo Ambeli, the fabulous sandy beach that is considered one of the best on the island, where we have our first swim.

We then turn right and enter the bay of Koutalas, where the sea is always calm. There we can choose the beach that we like: to our right we have the sandy beach of Ganema and then opposite the main beach of Koutalas. There we can have lunch at a very nice taverna.

After Koutalas, we can stop by the main port of Serifos, Livadi, for coffee or even visit the famous Chora (main town) of Serifos that overlooks the port. The view is spectacular and you can walk around the traditional old houses, with their distinct architecture, and drink the local digestive spirit rakomelo.
