A boat trip from Sifnos to classy Serifos, the island of the few and the elite

Σύντομη περιγραφή

Serifos (Koutalas - Livadi)
Duration: 6-7 hours
Total distance: 50 Nautical Miles

We exit the bay of Platis Gialos and head southwest and enter the strait of Kitriani-Sifnos. As soon as we leave the southwest end of Sifnos, the cape of Kontou, we soon see the first bay of Fykiada where we can swim. To the left we see the small church of Agios Georgios.
There we can anchor and have our first dive and enjoy the silver sand. Once we leave Fykiada, we continue cruising north on a northwest course and after half a mile we reach the bay of Vathi. Vathi is a picturesque port with traditional tavernas with the famous sifnian gastronomy and a long beach. After Vathi we stay on course and go through several beaches such as Vlychada, Tsocha and other smaller beaches of western Sifnos. After Cheronissos the northern village of Sifnos, we head northwest and start cruising to Serifos leaving Sifnos behind us. At 7 NM later and always heading northwest we pass cape Spathi and turn right to arrive at Kalo Ambeli the fabulous sandy beach that is considered, one of the best in Serifos and there we can have our first swim in the island. Then we will turn right and enter the bay of Koutalas where the sea is always calm. There we can choose the beach that we like: to our right we have the sandy beach of Ganema and then opposite the main beach of Koutalas. There we can have lunch at a very nice tavern.
After Koutalas we can stop by the main port of Serifos, Livadi for coffee or even visit the famous Chora of Serifos that overlooks the port. The view is spectacular and we can walk to enjoy the traditional old houses with the nice architecture and drink the local digestive spirit “rakomelo”. For our return to Sifnos we are heading south-southeast and after about 25 NM we arrive at Platis Gialos.

During the trip, we offer water and refreshments. Meals aren't included in the price.

BON VOYAGE!!!!
