Surf Hotel Lefkada

Surf Hotel is a great, family-run hotel in Vasiliki Bay. We had a sea-view room and woke up to a beautiful view across the bay every morning. The rooms are clean and have good air conditioning. There is a good choice of breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and yoghurt. There is free access to sun loungers during the day, available by the pool or in the garden, along with a bar serving drinks and snacks. The food is all very fresh, and all the staff are very attentive. There is also an on-site surf school which provides excellent tuition and kit hire for winging and windsurfing.

Such a lovely place to come and a wonderful atmosphere at the hotel. really friendly helpful staff especially with the windsurfing which I came to do. They have a great selection of kit and the staff are knowledgeable so you can pick the right kit for you. Also lessons for all abilities. Try out e foiling early morning for a real buzz to. Food is delicious, not to mention a great cocktail. Would definitely recommend a visit at least once a year if not more! Ems

Had a fanatic time at the Surf Hotel. Really friendly, great rooms, brilliant bar/restaurant around the pool. If you like water sports the windsurfing, winging and e foiling are all amazing. One of the best places to sail I have ever been. We will definitely return.

First time at this hotel and first time on Lefkada. It was a great choice. Right on the beach and close to lots of local tavernas. Although we are not wind surfers it was a great spectacle when they were all out in the bay. Room was comfortable with all amenities (noisy fridge which we turned off at night)! All staff super friendly and helpful. Good breakfast too. Thank you

I stayed at Surf Hotel in Vasiliki and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The hotel is not clean and feels extremely outdated inside. The air conditioner only works when the key is in the room, so every time we returned from the heat (40°C outside!), the room was unbearably hot and took ages to cool down. There were no lights in the hallway at night, which felt unsafe and unwelcoming. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable — it honestly felt like sleeping on a rock. I barely slept during my stay. For the price I paid, this hotel is completely overpriced and not worth it. I trusted the location and the photos, but the reality was very different. I don’t recommend this hotel and I hope the owners take serious steps to improve.
