Sundunes Hotel

We had the most incredible time at Sundunes Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — everyone was genuinely kind, helpful, and made sure our stay was perfect. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing, with so many delicious options to choose from. We were just steps away from the beach! Waking up and walking straight onto the sand was a dream. We truly had the most amazing time and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend! The perfect Honeymoon spot!

The welcome and reception staff were very helpful and professional, assisting us to organise restaurant booking and taxis around the island. The room was good - spacious and airy, a comfy bed but only providing a thin sheet for a duvet. I would expect some more high end product for shower gel / shampoo for the price. There was no conditioner for hair. Breakfast was poor. The buffet selection was okay, but a lot of food wasn’t labelled so you didn’t know what was what. Flies were often around cooked food. Scrambled eggs were cold, and coffee not great. Tables were left dirty for a while. There were only two people on service, and they never came and cleared plates away / asked for refill on coffee / water. It felt like a budget cafe breakfast more than one fitting of the cost you pay. The furniture is plastic and cheap. Overall, and considering we paid over €300 a night here, it isn’t great value for money and it lacks the luxury edge across almost all aspects of a hotel for the price and expectations.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Nasos until we left we loved our stay at Sundunes. The staff were super friendly and full of help and suggestions. Beautifully finished with a pool and beach right by. The new restaurant also delightful.

We stayed at Sundunes hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is very new but nestled amongst the sand dunes of plaka. We were greeted by Nasos and he helped inform us all about the hotel as well as arrange for a hire car to be delivered to the hotel. The team at Sundunes were all incredibly helpful and friendly. There is a super kid friendly pool with ample amount of loungers. Similarly 2min walk from the hotel is a beautiful sandy beach where the hotel has access to sunbeds etc and you are able to order food and drinks. The bar menu is super tasty and good value. breakfast is a simple buffet affair but has everything you could need. The rooms are comfortable and clean with elegant design. We really enjoyed our time in Naxos and would stay at the Sundunes hotel again 100%

Our stay at Sundunes in Naxos was superb! Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious and immaculate and truly felt like modern luxury in a peaceful environment. The grounds are stunning, with every turn on the property offering a gorgeous view or nicely appointed perspective. The breakfast choices seemed endless, with special dishes offered daily (the apple crumble and Greek yogurt parfaits - my goodness!) The pool area had plenty of comfortable seating with island views that can’t be beat. Finally, the staff at Sundunes is truly special! Nasos the manager is the best in the industry, making you feel like a VIP and a friend at the same time. His team including Chris, Renata and others, were friendly, welcoming, and truly took care of anything and everything you ever needed. I recommend this hotel 10/10 and can’t wait to return!
