Castella Beach

We have been associated with the hotel and its staff for the last 20 years. We live 2Km inland and come to the hotel when it is open for swimming and dining. I have read some of the reviews and would not advise even believing the theft post, there are many things wrong with the post itself. Anyway, circumstances forced us to abandon our house (the West Achia wild fire). The hotel opened itself for people to evacuate too, when the fire threatened the hotel itself we left and went to a deserted beach. We came back after we discovered we could not get to our house and the hotel offered us boarding in a vacant room. Like I said we have known these people and you can not find a better place to stay in the area. Another post said the hotel is ten minutes from the sea...again...do not believe that, it is a 20 meter walk through the dining/lounge area. All the food is excellent, which is why we go there. Recommended to anyone.

What a peaceful and absolutely wonderful experience!!! Quiet and serene. The beach is beautiful. A very cute dog as well. The owners are very friendly, and the place is accessible via public transit.

A wonderful little hotel with great hospitality! We always feel very welcome and every stay is like coming home. The location is pretty nice with direct access to the beach and a beautiful terrace for dinner or lunch. Highly recommend this great hotel and family business.

Stayed there for a few days. I was met with such professionalism and politeness that they won me as a client from the start. Everything was clean and the space is safe for children as well. Sadly i think people with mobility vehicles will have a hard time accessing the beach because as far as i could see there were no access to the beach for mobility vehicles. Other than that the beach is great, comfy chairs and warm waters. Everything included in the room price. It costs some money to use as a visitor but the price is really fair. I ate there 2 nights at the hotel restaurant. Tried the fish and the meat and was very very happy with the quality and the care they put to their dishes. You can have fresh fish ( the waiter informs to what’s available and fresh ) as well as traditional greek dishes. Service was excellent. I mean it… excellent! Always with a smile and ready to help without invading your space too much. There was a waiter, Panayotis, who was taking care of all customers with hearty smile and high professional standards. I can recommend the Hotel wholeheartedly and my tip would be to book the breakfast as well as they have EVERYTHING. It would take another 3 paragraphs to describe how well prepared the breakfast was. I will gladly come back anytime without doubts

We received a very warm welcome. The room was clean and spacious, the beach is right in front of the property. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. The service staff is very friendly and good at their job!
