Caretta Paradise Resort & WaterPark

The bad: 1. The door to the bathroom are glass and have a gap around them. Zero privacy when using the toilet. 2. There is only one AC unit in the master bedroom - so you have to run it all the time and keep the bedroom very cold so it spreads to the rest of the room. Can't close your bedroom door either or the rest of the room becomes too hot, so again no privacy. 3. The AC outdoor unit sits on the floor of the balcony blowing hot air at you when you sit there. It becomes a hotbox rather quickly. 4. The wall between master bedroom and kids bedroom has two big windows. They are frosted glass but again... they could at least be higher up. 4. The walls are paper thin. We were treated to a snoring opera of our neighbour every night. 5. The food in the restaurants is bland or over-seasoned, boring and same. Breakfast is exactly the same every day. 6. There is not enough swimming pools for all guests. Better get a room with a dedicated swimming pool. 7. The beach is very small, literally your head is touching the wall and your feet are in the water. The good: 1. It's very clean. 2. Most buildings and equipment are in good repair. 3. The reservation only restaurants serve really good food. 4. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. 5. I like the minimalistic design of the buildings.

Good hotel in a quiet location. Pools are excellent with great slides. Food is what u would expect at an all inclusive good but not 5 star. Snack bar is good and ice cream is excellent, best I have had at an all inclusive resort. Not much to do outside if the hotel 3 shops and a couple of restaurants with a beach a short 5min walk away where u can hire pedal boats.

Caretta Paradise resort & waterpark is a real gem in Zakynthos, deserving its full five stars! The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect - close to the beautiful beach and all local attractions, which makes every day full of sun and entertainment. Moreover, the presence of a fantastic water park is a huge plus, guaranteeing hours of fun for everyone, especially families. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the entire facility is sparkling clean. The pools are great, with plenty of space to relax and enough sun loungers. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and always smiling, which creates an extremely pleasant atmosphere. It is a perfect place for a family holiday or a romantic getaway, offering unforgettable experiences and complete relaxation. I highly recommend it!

Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The water slides were fantastic, and the rooms.were clean and well fitted, and I found the mattress to be very comfortable. The only complaint I had would be the food it was not bad, I just feel it could be better, particularly at the snack bars where the gyros were luke warm. The inflatable park attached to the complex is not covered by the all-inclusive but was really good for the kids, and the staff there were excellent. The local area has a few shops and bars but nothing else, the beach nearby is small but nice.

Currently staying here and I wouldn’t stay again, the food is mediocre at best and definitely not 4 star quality. Not very kid friendly food, spiced French fries and no ice cream after 5pm anywhere at all which for kids isn’t great. Fairly well maintained resort with some wear and tear. Rooms are very basic, two wardrobes with 10 clothes hangers, no drawers so with a family of 4 it’s tough to sort any clothes out. Staff are friendly and helpful.
