Discover the most incredible graffiti and street art hidden away in the backstreets of the city.  On this 3-hour leisurely Athens walking tour, we venture off the beaten track to get a firsthand look at Athens' amazing urban art scene whilst also getting a taste of some of the most enjoyable Athens street food

You will begin your Athens tour by exploring the district of Gazi, renowned for its visually stunning murals around Persephone Square (Voutadon Square). Here you will see for yourself why the alternative neighbourhood has established itself as a leading location for graffiti culture.

Continuing your stroll to Metaxourgio, an artistic neighbourhood with some of the best street art in Athens, you will immerse yourself in the culture and lifestyle of graffiti. Learn all there is about how the city's street art reflects social and political issues before making your way to the lively area of Psyrri. Here you will take a break to relax over a traditional pie and a strong brew of Greek coffee.

Stroll around the narrow scenic streets in the area to discover more colourful works of art and discuss the innovative painters who have adorned the archaic buildings with amazing wall paintings. After enjoying the city's vibrant neighbourhoods brimming with creative energy, your friendly expert guide will take you to Monastiraki where you will taste some of the most mouth-watering Greek street food, the famous souvlaki followed by delicious 'loukoumades', honey doughnuts!
