The Chryselephantine Couch (10 mins): Found in the prince's tomb, this extraordinary piece of art is a highlight of the museum. Depicting Dionysus and his party of revelers is certain to steal your attention and hard as you see through the exhibits pertaining to the prince’s Tomb. Allow Clio Muse to guide you through the importance and diversity of Macedonian customs after giving you a detailed description of this expressive exhibit.

The Silver Ossuary Hydria (5 mins): The urn, resting on a stone base contains the remains of the tomb’s young occupant. Simple but dazzling, this piece of art holds its own secrets that Clio Muse is more than excited to share.

Silver patera  (20 mins): Originally used for ritual liberation, this luscious symposium silver set was buried with the prince illustrating his high social status. With this exhibit as a starting point, allow Clio Muse to guide you through the social importance and cultural impact of such objects in Ancient Macedonia, taking young Alexander the Great as an example.
