Ventale Island Breeze Resort

Our week-long stay at Ventale left us with highly mixed feelings. The positives include the really quiet and peaceful surrounding of the hotel, which is perfect for relaxing by the pool or by the beach. The scenery is from a postcard. The hotel and the rooms are modern and elegant. The staff is very friendly, professional and are always ready to help. The beach is equipped with comfortable sun beds, perfect for enjoying a day at the beach. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The biggest let-down of the stay is the food, which was mediocre. From such a hotel, I would have expected much higher quality. However, 90% of the food were not home-made, the salads were uninviting, the desserts were all industrially made and were inedible, the warm foods were not really warm and often dry, the kiwis were served raw, the list could go on. The stay included two free dinners at the a la carte restaurant, however, the menu was so succinct and the food so average that one visit was sufficient. It should be noted that regardless of the premium price of the hotel, the drinks are not included in the half-board (not even alcohol-free). For lunch, the hotel sells food via its beach bar. However, the food is as mediocre there as in the buffet and a la carte restaurant, and double the price compared to the local restaurants around the hotel. Unfortunately, during our stay, we caught a norovirus, like many other guests of the hotel. While the hotel is very clean, and cleaners are cleaning daily, norovirus requires specific disinfection protocols with bleach, which the hotel did not seem follow. Only when it was clear that several guests had contracted the virus, did we smell bleach in our room after the daily cleaning, and did hand sanitizers were placed around the hotel. Although, the norovirus had been going around in the area for several weeks, the staff did not warn us about it on our arrival, only after we contracted it. If guests would be notified at arrival, they could take additional precautions to protect themselves from it. Lastly, the location of the hotel is rather remote and can be considered suitable only if you are coming to relax by the beach or the pool. If you are looking for other activities, I would look for a hotel in another area as there are limited options for activities nearby the hotel. The hotel organizes some gym and yoga classes however, these are advertised only briefly at the reception and thus, easy to overlook, while the indoor and outdoor gyms are rather small. Overall, I feel that the hotel did not live up to its 5 stars. I have had better experience from hotels with less stars.

Pros: Our stay began with a sense of peace and tranquility. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was calm and welcoming. The private pool was a luxurious and much-appreciated feature. The beach area was also a highlight, with comfortable sun chairs that made it easy to relax. Cons: Unfortunately, our dining experiences were disappointing. The food quality was poor, and the flavors were consistently dull, to the point that we lost our appetite after just a few dinners. This was a significant drawback to an otherwise lovely stay. The peaceful days gave way to noisy nights. Our room was surprisingly loud, which disrupted our sleep and made it difficult to fully rest. Additionally, the cleaning quality left much to be desired, as our room often didn't feel as fresh and tidy as it should have.

A beautiful, stylish, sleek hotel. Lovely decor. The food is lovely and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms are so clean and spacious very modern and up to date. Beautiful location close to some lovely restaurants. Small and quiet hotel which is perfect for us. Can always get a beach or pool bed. Highly recommend

I’m writing this review right from the balcony with a private pool at Ventale Island Breeze Resort, just a few meters from the sound of the sea and with a breathtaking sunset view. Everything here is designed for maximum comfort: a spacious modern room with automatic curtains, a clean private pool, and a sea view. There’s even a choice of pillows and a convenient beach bag in the room. The thick walls make the stay even cozier — you simply don’t hear the neighbors. Sun loungers are always available both on the beach and by the main pool, so there’s no need for any “early morning towel races.” Any requests are handled instantly, sometimes even before I have time to voice them. The staff is genuinely friendly, and the food is pleasing: breakfast is sufficient and varied, while dinner is a true delight accompanied by live music. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing that you don’t even feel like leaving the hotel. The internet is available but more like a bonus — good enough to send a sunset photo, but streaming your favorite series will have to wait until you’re back home. There are a few minor details that don’t affect the overall picture. I still have 10 days left here, and if anything changes for the better — or something unpleasant appears — I will definitely update my review. My personal verdict: 9.7/10.

Their positive energy was contagious and made our stay even more joyful. The food was absolutely delicious, both breakfast and dinner exceeded our expectations, and we genuinely looked forward to every meal. The sandy beach was stunning, with crystal-clear, clean waters that invited us in every day. Our room had a private pool which was a real highlight. The room overall is very elegant, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Overall, a perfect combination of comfort, beauty, and exceptional service. We highly recommend Ventale to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing escape!
