Theodora Suites Santorini

A unique experience living in a cave suite. Good view for both sunset and sunrise from my place. Breakfast is great and comfortable while facing the great ocean. There is an open tub as well. Suite has offered a helper to bring our heavy luggages all the way up and down on the first and last day. 🙏🙏 The limitation is electricity is not good enough and lights sometimes will flash.

Extremely disappointed! Was advised as an Adults Only! The suite next to use had a 6year old child. We booked here for a romantic 34th anniversary. The hot tub on roof top balcony was not private and extremely cold. Never used it! Getting to suite was a nightmare- long narrow pathway on hillside was always packed with tourists trying to get pictures of the blue domes. They believe we were trying to jump the hour long longs while getting to our room which caused pushing matches. Not to mention all these people stood on the pathway looking down into our outdoor eating area like we were animals on display. No window view from our room or eating area as specifically requested via emails to host Odisseas. Room smelled of sewage and last day there was no water for a shower, wash face or flush toilet - 🤢. Breakfast - no choices and same thing every day.

𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐑𝐔𝐃𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐅𝐅 At the time of checkout, 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 saying he has another check out to attend to. Looks like the place is run by just 3-4 people only. Moreover in the breakfast that we included at the time of room booking, they don’t give you any options to choose from. They just ask if you’re a vegetarian and will 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 and put on the personal table of each room. 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫, 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐫𝐮𝐝𝐞 if you ask for anything from them. For staying there for 2-3 days, this property has a 𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬. Wont recommend anyone to 𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 themselves in such a beautiful island.

this was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in!! you had your own private area to see the famous oia sunset and an outdoor hot tub and relaxing area. it’s definitely a bit of a hike to get to/from the hotel but it’s well worth it!

cannot recommend Theodora Suites enough!! Rooms are clean and comfortable, beautiful views, and, from our experience, an amazing location - it is in oia but tucked in a more comfortable spot in ammoudi bay so you are steps away from the action but not completely immersed (for reference, we went in late june). Odisseas was helpful and professional, sent people to retrieve our bags, and was just overall a great host. Breakfast is served every morning to your room. It is a cold breakfast, but it is very good- we enjoyed it immensely. Overall, wonderful experience! Thank you Theodora Suites!
