Santorini Heritage Villas & Mansions

Megalochori village is a true greek village with both beauty and privacy. It is tucked away from the busy cities such as Fira, Oia etc. This makes it peaceful and tranquil. To us it worked very well as there were no one to walk over our heads such as what you see in Oia and Fira where people are walking by so close to your villa and there is no privacy. Here it is much peaceful and private with no noise. This is what one needs on a holiday. Rest getting to Oia and Fira is only within 30mins drive, so best to take walks around there and enjoy variety of restaurants. The village offers a nearby family bakery which was brilliant. Nice walks away from traffic and it's only 100yrds away from the main road which joins to head over to Fira or Oia. Fira just being under 20mins drive and Oia about 30mins or so. Constantino provided excellent customer service and support and the place was very clean and tidy. Sophia mansion is a quiet and private area which is locked by the main gates/door. And the place is yours. Walls are high enough for you to enjoy your private pool and sun bathing. Facing the Blue Dome which is located on the high street. Constantino sat down with us to explain the map of Santorini and recommended areas to visit. This shows great detail of top levels of client orientation and care for the guests. Constantino welcomed us when we got there, so we didnt have to wait at all. This is all one needs. Room service was well maintained and housekeeping lady is such a lovely person who kept the house tidy regularly. Everything in its place. Our couple highly recommends the place and services offered by Constantino and his team at the mansion. My friends and I came here for spring break and this couldn’t have been a better spot to do so. The host was very responsive and gave us a lot of options for local and authentic cuisine. We were able to have transfers to and from places at our disposal. The location is absolutely worth the price and I will be planning my trip back soon!

A wonderful place to stay in an island where it seems it's rare to find a good balance between traditional and luxury accommodation.This is a villa of traditional architecture but with every modern infrastructure (including a superfast WiFi, something rare for hotels in Greece), a very practical floorpan that allows a small family to live comfortably for an extended amount of days, and an amazing well-design exterior environment where we enjoyed relaxing in the evenings or even in the afternoons in the pool. Megalochori is a location that is quiet, but not far from other major places, has all kinds of options for dining etc, and parking is very near the villa. The host was also excellent, very easy to communicate with, and provided us with a ton of (very good) suggestions on what to do, where to eat, etc. Highly recommended!

This villa was amazing! Each couple had their own area, and the courtyard and pool were fantastic for gathering. The concierge really helped us understand various things to do in Santorini, and he gave us great recommendations. This is a beautiful villa that is in a peaceful area, but there are many spots you can walk to from the villa. We loved staying at this villa!

The villa was amazing! We loved it. Takis and Konstantinos took great care of us the entire week. This process could not have been easier. The location of our villa was great, nestled right in the middle of the village. We felt like we got a very authentic experience on Santorini. We very much enjoyed our stay in Megalochori!
