Do yourself a favour and stay here. Is one of those places that you will think about years to come and will make you want to book another trip to Greece just to comeback to this place. Special hotel with one of the best breakfast of my life in an amazing setting. Also you need to have dinner there. Best meal in Greece.

this was the best hotel of our trip to greece, beautiful hotel... for sure not the fanciest but their breakfast was indeed as good (if not better) than what anyone was claiming to be... really homemade things with such an amazing flavour and variety... we left greece wishing we had stayed an extra night in this area mainly because of this hotel... the room was very well maintained, the view to the courtyard was also great and the people in general were super nice, thank you for the beautiful memories

This place is just fantastic and I would describe it as quite a multi-sensory experience. I stayed in Volos. This is in the mountains. I called the night before and was greeted by a patient and lovely man, who told me their hours and reassured me I did not need a reservation but made one anyway. Their concept is truly unique and remarkable: true farm-to-table (they own their farm), consume locally sourced products, eat seasonally. Ask them about their sister restaurants/cafés! First of all, the drive up from Volos is just amazing and breathtaking, especially as you climb closer to Portaria. To me, this restaurant feels like a multi-sensory experience! 💯 It feels like your classy friend's living room, with the fancy kitchen nearby, nice smells and aromas and the whole vibe. When I walked in, as someone into deep aromas and odors, the first thing that hit me is the lovely, subtle smell of ❤️‍🔥 burning wood from the chimney and food aromas that tease your stomach into submission! Pure pleasure, pure pleasure! Visually, the interior has the feel of a winter chalet. The music 🎶 comprises Jazz piano standards and is sooo soothing, contributing to an amazing 😍 experience. I had the Trachana soup, the beet salad with cheese/yogurt, pickled onions and pistachios, and the lamb fricassee. The soup is soo beautiful! It is a mixture of curdy, slightly sour, and well seasoned: it has feta-like cheese, a sausage out of this world...🌎 One of the top two soups I've had in Greece. The beet salad! 🥗 Mann, what can I say? For all of y'all who think beets are bland 🙄, you've never had beets like these before: the perfect mix of vinegary and sweet. The pistachios and the soft cheese add an amazing touch... Finally, your boy ending things with the lamb with greens (Xorta) dish and egg lemon sauce! (Avgolemono). Even before tasting, the beautiful smell of dill and other herbs hit me in the face like a mule! 😅 This is the best, most original, stewed lamb 🐑 dish I've had in Greece: and I've been coming here for almost a decade. To close things off, the apricot pie/tart 🙄🥧. Come try it. Nothing to say. In Volos, αγάπη μου, with YOU 🥰🙏🏿🚀.

All the food served in their restaurant comes from their organic farm... even the honey and butter. 4 hours outside of Athens... great drive mostly along the coast and then up the mountains through more picturesque villages.

Charming Restaurant and small hotel. Offering great food and cute rooms. Stayed for a night and enjoyed it very much. Service was excellent. Would happily recommend it to anyone. Getting a free marmalade when staying is a nice touch and will let us remember the place long after we have been
