IRIS COFFEE BAR: Located in the lobby and serving at the grand terrace, it offers good coffee (hot & cold), soft drinks, fresh juice, desserts, beer, wine, cocktails and alcolhol drinks until late at night with a great view.

    Very basic hotel, but good service, polite owners. Expensive for its price, in my opinion not worth more than 50€/night. The rooms are small and outdated the paint from the furniture is deteriorating, and I also found ants in the bathroom. The breakfast is way too basic, it could be so much better: cheese and ham slices are like plastic ....put more local cheese and ham products on your small buffet, put pies for example, local jams, fresh bread... Disappointed. For 6 more euros per night you can stay at a resort by the beach an hour away from there. Check it out!

    One of my favourite and definitely the best-valued hotel in my month-long trip through Peloponnese. The owner (and rest of staff) is extremely kind and flexible. The room was spotless, new-feeling, matching interior design, with a little balcony, 'mosquito net sliding door' that also repels sunlight, and a very efficient (and quiet!) AC. Filtered water refilled daily (if asked), so loving the more sustainable approach. Cute little community "living room" with various books in the lobby area. 1-minute walk to lovely beach (I always climbed over the small hill and had the entire next cove to myself); beautiful water to swim in with a great view of Monemvasia. Also, walking distance to my favourite Taverna all trip (O Takis) :)) Had a great four days to explore both Monemvasia and the surrounding peninsula. Will definitely be back when in the area! Felt right at home :)

    Very nice little hotel with bright and clean rooms. Wonderful staff with plenty of advices on the area. Amazing view on Monemvasia rock from the room and the terrace. A great beach is 2mn walk away through the property garden. Complete breakfast. And for cat lover, the mascot is always keen on cuddle.

    We recently stayed at Iris Beach Hotel Sep-2018. The Good: Great idea to supply guest with beach bag, towels and sun umbrellas. Room was very clean. Air conditioning worked very well. The Bad: We had major plumbing problems hot water was inadequate. The showers were very small. The beds were uncomfortable stiff. Breakfast was just okay very sparse. Overall I would not recommend, would have paid extra for something better.

    This hotel is situated in a very nice location, with view to the rock of Monemvasia, and access to a nice beach. They offer basic facilities and a decent breakfast; staff are polite and responsive. The state of the room was however far from what was displayed in booking.com or google; this would definitely require substantive refurbishment to reach the expected standards. Besides lack of good drainage in the bathroom caused repeated overflow from the floor's syphon while showering or using the basin. Equally annoying the fact that during our 3-day stay, sheets and towels were not changed and garbage were removed once. This was not value for money to my opinion and not recommended.
