Grecotel LUXME Palms at Riviera Olympia & Aqua Park

Ilia Palms (Grecotel LUXME Palms) We have been visiting this Riviera Olympia Resort for many years, and this time we decided to try for a few days in a different hotel within the same resort: Ilia Palms This hotel grants access to all resort facilities — pools, restaurants, beaches, and the mega aqua park — just like its sister hotels within the resort . Located a bit further from the beach, Ilia Palms is nestled in a pine and eucalyptus grove, which makes its setting feel pleasantly calm and shaded. Spending time in the pool under the scent of pine and eucalyptus was truly relaxing . However, we must be honest: the hotel itself feels quite outdated. Cleaning was disappointing — despite raising the issue at reception, the room and corridors still felt neglected, as if this standard is the norm. Indeed, some guest reviews mention that the property feels worn and in need of renovation . In light of this, next time we’ll return to our beloved adjacent hotel, Riviera, where we spent the rest of our holidays in comfort and happiness.

We had a truly amazing stay at this hotel! The territory is huge, beautifully maintained, and full of charming, Instagram-worthy spots. One great feature is the golf carts driving around the resort — they can take you anywhere you need, which makes getting around super easy and comfortable. There are plenty of pools to enjoy, and the fact that they’re open 24/7 was a big plus. The Pool Bar deserves a special mention — the atmosphere is incredible, and the cocktails are absolutely delicious. The drinks throughout the resort were always on point. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The food was simply fantastic — a wide variety of dishes, all fresh and full of flavor. We truly indulged in the best way possible! Another thoughtful detail was the breakfast boxes prepared for early morning excursions. Overall, we were left with a wonderful impression. Everything — from the setting to the service — was top-notch. We 100% recommend this hotel!

There are 3 or 4 Grecotel hotels. Specifically the Palms is the oldest one; TOO OLD. Rooms are not very clean. Most of the facilities such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, beach access etc. are found on the other hotels and so you have to change hotel to enjoy some facilities. To change hotel you can walk for about 5-10 minutes or get on one of the golf carts available every 15 minutes. You can freely use the facilities of the other hotels such as the swimming pools. Yet, personally I believe the Palms hotel has the best swimming pool as it is the warmest one as well as the most quiet. In more general, the Grecotel hotels have infinite facilities which can also be seen in more detail in the Grecotel app. The aqua park has some very nice slides appropriate for older ages too. The food tastes lovely and it is found in large quantities and varieties. Summarising, upon seeing the other Grecotel hotels we regretted we didn’t book to stay there, as we were completely disappointed about how old the building was and likewise with the rooms. The room was not worth the money spent at all. However most of our time was spent in the facilities which were very worthy.

Wonderful resort with top-notch service! Extremely clean and well-maintained hotel, with modern and comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. The food at the restaurant was delicious and diverse – especially the dinner! The pools were clean, and the location is peaceful, perfect for rest and relaxation. I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Overpriced hotel. Rooms were not up to standards for 300€/per night. There were ants and cockroaches paying visits in the bathroom. Wifi and internet speed was slower than a psdn connection (those of some age would understand that comment). Cellphone reception far from normal. Food, although plenty had a flat taste. Palms is an old building with some touches of renovation in the rooms but nothing close to a 5 star hotel. Food was served in Oasis for 3 different hotels ( Palms, Riviera and Oasis). People were queueing to enter the restaurant every time. The water park was good, but if you are not going only for that, then it definitely doesn't worth the price.
