Cloud Blue Mykonos

This is our second time in three years traveling to Greece and both times we stayed at Cloud Blue. We love how peaceful the location is and how close it is to Mykonos Town. The pool has a fantastic view overlooking the water so if you decide to have a day poolside you’re still getting some of the best views Greece has to offer. I also can’t say enough about the host Ion and the cleaning lady Maria. Both are so friendly and helpful when it comes to making sure your stay is enjoyable. Ion is super responsive and Maria is respectful of your space and leaves your rooms spotless everyday. If we ever decide to travel back to Greece again we’ll definitely stay at Cloud Blue.

We rented the Honeymoon Suite and loved it. Ion, the owner, picked us up from the ferry Port, gave us great recommendations for restaurants and beaches, and was happy to help if needed. Well designed suite and compound with pool and some parking. Great views, close to town, priced right and felt secure. Ion dropped us off at the ferry port and waited until we had our tickets. Don't waste time looking at other places like I did, book it!

We stayed 3 nights right at the start of the season in May 2024 at Cloud Blue.We booked the studio room which had a small kitchenette and a functional but very compact bathroom. The unit had large glass doors opening onto a magnificent balcony overlooking the sea We spent many hours relaxing on the balcony watching the sea traffic for the port of Mykonos. The location is perfect. A 5 minute walk out of old town Mykonos but away from the hustle and bustle. The pool at Cloud Blue is a stunning infinity edge pool. If the weather and pool temperature had been warmer (if we had visited in June) we would have spent a lot of time swimming and relaxing around the pool area. Cloud Blue is a very boutique complex with only 3 or 4 villas/apartments on the property along with the host’s house. This adds to the exclusivity and charm of the property. If you are looking for a pumping /party hotel this is not the place for you. There is no facility to purchase meals or food at the property but there are 2 mini-marts within 5 minutes walk to buy groceries for breakfast. We ate out for our main meals. We found our studio unit very clean and fresh and the housekeeper provided a daily service. There were even fresh cut flowers in a vase for us in our unit. The thoughtful touches. We hand washed our clothes and hung them on the line strung across the end of our balcony. The strong breezes you get situated high on the hill dried the clothes easily. Ion had offered that the housekeeper could wash and dry our clothes if we wanted but there was no access for independent use of a laundry onsite. Ion our host (the owner) at Cloud Blue was very accommodating. He came and collected us on arrival and drove us to the port for our departure on the ferry. He didn’t just drop us in the vicinity of the port but drove us right to where we needed to be with our heavy bags. A bus service travels right past the complex about every 30 minutes which we used to travel across the island for sightseeing on one day. There is a bus stop just beyond the property which was excellent for being dropped off after the day’s outing rather than having to walk back up the hill from town. The walk from town is on the side of the narrow 2-way road and has no footpaths so you need to keep an eye on the traffic as you walk. The first walk to town takes a bit to get used to after coming from roads with footpaths, however this is part of the charm of the area and once you are used to it the traffic it does not feel as daunting. We would love to bring our adult children back for a holiday to Cloud Blue and book out the entire complex. It lends itself to the feeling of being an exclusive retreat. This was one of the best places I ever stayed in, if not really the best!! The ambiance is simply perfect, the sunset at the pool is to die for and Ion is an amazing host, offering free transfer to and from the airport, luggage storage, a bottle of rose on arrival, daily cleaning, invaluable local tips and more. I am already thinking of booking it again for next year.. >_

The Host Ionas, was exceptional as the room and the view was million dollars (sunset sea view), amazing furniture and generous fresh flowers in the room! I mean! We had an amazing time, loved the hospitality, generosity and his proactive organisation! YOU MADE OUR STAY! 8 min walk from Down Town where everything is happening, car park for the hire car, security and alarm in the room, all clearly explained. We had a wonderful stay and we will return and send our friends there too!
