Canaves Epitome

I had a wonderful stay at Canaves Epitome. The staff were extremely attentive and provided excellent customer service throughout my visit. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making the experience feel very personalized and comfortable. The view from the resort was beautiful, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, everything was great — from the service to the surroundings. I highly recommend this place!

This resort absolutely deserves five stars. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely at home, despite being 14 hour away plane ride away. Their warmth and attention to detail made all the difference. Little gestures, like a farewell note paired with champagne and checkins to ensure we had everything we needed. The property itself is breathtaking. Immaculately maintained and designed with a modern Mediterranean flair. Watching the sun set over the water from the pool was truly magic. We left with full hearts and a sense we have home away from home” in Greece. Thank you to the exceptional staff and the stunning accommodations for creating a stay we’ll never forget.

Check-in: Very smooth and professional. Staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Villa: Spacious, spotless, and well-maintained with a private heated pool. However, two-bedroom villas are split-level (duplex style, going downward) with a staircase at the entrance, which may not be ideal for families with small children. Breakfast: Fully à la carte — no buffet or ready items on tables. Limited variety, especially in fruits, pastries, and kid-friendly options (e.g. purées missing). Quality of food was high, but overall selection didn’t match the hotel’s luxury standard. Facilities: Well-maintained, upscale, and of great quality across the hotel.

We visited for our honeymoon and wish we could have stayed longer. First, the location is unbelievable. Oia is easily the best town in Santorini and the hotel offers an amazing shuttle to the downtown. Quick and easy, with excellent drivers. The hotel itself is beautiful, quiet and spacious. I can’t say enough about the staff and how great they were. Polite, attentive and informative. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but the free breakfast was top notch. They also have beautiful pools, a gym and a spa. 5 stars and we hope to go back one day!

Have rarely had such a lovely and blissful experience in a property. Not a hotel but so much more. The magical aura of Santorini is inescapable in these views, luxurious linens, private plunge pool, amazing dishes, and the ability to totally relax. There is an amazing spa although I did not partake. After 4 hard days of travel (too many planes, trains, automobiles) I arrived under the stars to Canaves Epitome. I had no idea the views and sunshine to greet me the next morning! Breathtaking is an understatement. After sleeping in (!) I took the hotel shuttle to Oia to shop, lunch, and take the obligatory photos. Spent the rest of the afternoon lounging by my private pool with a book, a nap, and that VIEW!! Such a treat. Highly recommend the Greek Yogurt and Vitamin Boost juice for breakfast. The room service menu caters to children and young adults, but the restaurant menu is four stars. Cannot say enough about the staff. Every one of the Canaves team takes pride in their service and treats guests like family. Always remembered my name and shared their personal adventures and recommendations. You can tell when people love what they do. Cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend for honeymoon, anniversary, couples, travel with friends, or solo. It was April, so did not see a lot of children.
